Deltion — Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Deltion, a personal medical-records app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. By downloading or using Deltion you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Deltion is distributed through the App Store, so Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your copy. These terms sit alongside it and add detail specific to Deltion. Where the two genuinely conflict, Apple's agreement governs the licence to use the software.

Not medical advice

Two specifics worth stating plainly:

• Summaries and extracted values are produced automatically and can be wrong. They are read out of your documents by software, including AI models. Verify anything that matters against the original report.
• Reference ranges Deltion supplies are typical adult ranges, not your laboratory's. Where a document states its own range, that always takes precedence. Ranges the app fills in are labelled as typical, and they are context for reading a number — not a clinical threshold.

Deltion is not a diagnostic device and is not certified as a medical device. It is also not a radiology workstation: it keeps a viewable preview of an imaging series so you can carry and look at your scans, without the window/level controls, annotation or measurement tools a diagnostic viewer provides.

Your records are yours

Deltion has no account, no sign-in, and no server of ours. Your documents and the data read out of them are stored on your device, encrypted. We do not receive them, and we cannot recover them for you.

Three things can leave your device, all optional and all started by you: cloud AI analysis if you add your own provider key, iCloud sync if you turn it on, and a bug report if you send one. The privacy statement describes each in detail.

Because there is no copy on our side, keeping backups is your responsibility. Deleting the app, losing the device, or resetting it can lose your library. iCloud sync and your device backups are the practical safeguards.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Deltion only for your own records, or records you are entitled to hold, and not to:

• break any applicable law, or infringe anyone's rights or privacy;
• reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the app beyond what the law expressly permits;
• use it to provide clinical services to others, or present its output as a professional opinion.

Deltion Pro

Deltion is free to download, and the library itself is never behind a paywall — keeping, reading, searching and trending your own records stays free, with no document limit.

Deltion Pro is an optional in-app purchase covering the workflows around the library: iCloud sync, side-by-side Compare, report export, DICOM and provider-file import, batch import, and Ask a Question. It is offered as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription with a free trial, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Current prices are shown in the App Store and vary by territory.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel them in your Apple account settings — not in the app, and not by contacting us.
• Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription during the trial.
• Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. Refunds are at Apple's discretion and are requested through Apple, not from us.
• A "lifetime" purchase means the lifetime of the product — it unlocks Pro features permanently for the platforms covered by the purchase, for as long as Deltion is distributed and runs on your devices. It is not a promise that the app will be published or updated forever.

Third-party AI providers

Deltion reads your documents on the device by default. You may optionally supply your own API key for a cloud provider (such as Anthropic, OpenAI or Google). If you do, documents you choose to analyse are sent to that provider, under your own account and their terms. We are not a party to that relationship, we do not proxy those requests, and we are not responsible for what the provider does with the request. Availability, cost and accuracy are theirs, not ours. Remove the key at any time to stop it.

Availability and changes

Deltion is provided as it is today. Features may change, and we may stop publishing or supporting the app, a platform, or a particular capability. We will avoid removing something you have paid for where we reasonably can, but we cannot guarantee any feature, integration or third-party service remains available indefinitely.

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will appear here with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use Deltion after a change means you accept the updated terms.

No warranty, and limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Deltion is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that anything it extracts from a document is correct.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for any decision made in reliance on the app's output. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you actually paid for Deltion in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects the statutory rights you have as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country you live in.
