By downloading, installing, or using AI Usage Monitor (“the app”), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
A free, open-source macOS menu bar app that shows your Claude and ChatGPT usage limits as live percentages, reading the logins you already have.
The app is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic or OpenAI. “Claude”, “Claude Code”, and “Anthropic” are trademarks of Anthropic PBC; “ChatGPT”, “Codex”, and “OpenAI” are trademarks of OpenAI. Both are used only to describe what the app interoperates with.
The app reads undocumented usage endpoints and reuses the public Claude Code OAuth client id. These are unofficial, may change or break at any time, and their use could be inconsistent with either provider's terms.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of
any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to
merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The
developer does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or
secure, or that it will keep working as Anthropic or OpenAI change their
services. (See the
Apache-2.0 LICENSE for the governing disclaimer.)
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the app.
This is a hobby project offered for free. There is no guarantee of support, updates, or continued availability. It may be modified or discontinued at any time.

These terms may change; updates are published here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
